Ryan Thompson

Ryan Thompson cut his teeth in Fortune 500 financial services, trained on data and numbers. He took those earnings to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he founded and ran a training institute, then returned to work at a Fortune 100 company before moving to agency life, where he has spent the last ten years. Today he publishes The Mention Report, a monthly benchmark of how findable brands are inside AI search.

His argument is simple and measured. Ranking is still important, but being mentioned is becoming essential. As the search box turns into an answer box, the brands that get cited inside AI answers are the ones that win attention, and most cannot yet see whether that is happening. The Mention Report exists to give them a reading they can trust.
